“We’re 5 women cyclists who stayed for 1 night while doing the coast to coast. The pub was great with us all, accommodating with the bikes and helpful. Breakfast was freshly cooked and tasty.”

“We booked two rooms to stay overnight as we were attending a wedding nearby and were so happy with our accommodation. One of our rooms was a lovely big family room , the other room was a little small but perfectly fine for a single person.the bathrooms in both rooms were beautiful and extremely clean.”

“From arriving to leaving we were made to feel welcome by the very friendly and helpful owners and staff. The room was clean and warm with a lovely modern bathroom and the bed was comfortable. The selection of breakfast cereals, fruit etc was very good and the full English breakfast was generous and well cooked. Overall a pleasant experience and we wish you the best of luck for the future.”

“Very pleasant and welcoming, host went beyond our expectations, had left side lights on resulting in flat battery. Host produced jump leads which saved us calling for assistance. It was just 1 nights stay as were attending a family party close by.”
